Petal Packs

Responsibility
Use your own markers and the supplied precut foamie daisy and smile face to decorate a pre-strung tag for the 9” vinyl tote. Totes will help your Daisies be responsible and bring their supplies to every meeting. Beside this kit, You will need tacky glue and markers. Project will take about 10-15 minutes to complete.

Learning the Promise
Write your name on the pre-printed card to use as a name tag. Click here to see a close up of the front and back of the card. As you learn the Girl Scout promise, cover the circles with smile face stickers. When completed, turn the card over. Write your name on it, decorate with additional stickers and continue to use as a name tag. Beside this kit, You will need markers. Allow 10 minutes each meeting to practice reciting the promise until all your girls know it.

Honest and Fair
Girls can work in groups of 3 or 4. Collect all the beads from that group and place them in the middle of the table. Give each girl a plastic cup and pipe cleaner. Have each group divide the beads up fairly into their cups. Girls can then string the beads on to a pipe cleaner and make a bracelet. Project will take about 20 minutes to complete and you'll need scissors to trim the pipe cleaner when done.

Respect Authority
Make a firehouse scene using the stickers and printed background. There is also a printed Thank You card and envelope. Color in the words on the outside using your own markers. The inside is printed with lines spaced for beginning writers. Leaders can help their girls write to thank the firefighters for their hospitality (if you visited) or thank them for serving the community. Use additional stickers to decorate. Beside this kit, you will need your own markers. Project will take about 20 minutes to complete.

Helpful and Kind
Each girl gets six printed cards and six foamie hands. Cards say "A Helping Hand Was Here." Glue a hand to each card. Instruct girls to help out or do chores and leave behind a card. Beside this kit, You will need tacky glue and markers. Project will take about 10 minutes to complete plus time to talk to girls about helping at home.

Self-Respect
Girls glue on the supplied precut foamie daisy and smile faces as well as wiggle eyes and stickers: "I see combed hair." and "I see clean teeth" to a frame with an unbreakable mirror taped behind it. You'll need to hot glue the magnet to the back. Beside this kit, You will need masking tape, tacky glue and hot glue. Project will take about 20 minutes to complete.

Courageous and Strong
Kit includes eight preprinted pieces. They have quotes such as "I'm brave at the doctor", "I can run fast", "I try new foods", etc. Girls choose four of the quotes and staple them together to make a crown. Glue on a foamie daisy and smile face. Besides our kit, girls will need tacky glue and a stapler. Project will take about 15 minutes to complete.

Environmentalism
Write a message on the plastic visor such as "CLEAN UP CREW" or "I RECYCLE". Girls glue on the supplied precut foamie daisies and smile faces. Girls can wear their visors as they practice environmentalism. Beside this kit, You will need tacky glue and permanent marker. Project will take about 15 minutes to complete.

Caring
Girls glue on the supplied precut foamie daisies and smile faces to 4 preprinted card that say "A DAISY SMILE FOR YOU". Beside this kit, a glue stick and scissors. Project will take about 20 minutes to complete.

Use Resources Wisely
Decorate a dry erase door hanger with the included foamie daisies and smile faces. Use the door hanger to save paper and help the environment. The door hanger has a piece to punch out to hang it. Instead of throwing it away, make it into a necklace. We've included a piece of cord or string (a left-over from other kits!) and foam pieces. You'll need your own hole punch and a marker to write your name. Project will take about 10 minutes to complete.

Be a Sister to Every Scout
Girls make 6 SWAPs each by gluing a smile face to a foamie daisy. Kit includes six peel and stick pins with a safety catch. If you need help understanding SWAPping, ScoutSwaps.com has tips and FAQs. Instructions for SWAPping online and with MakingFriends.com are included. Beside this kit, You will need tacky glue, and SWAP tags. Project will take about 15 minutes to complete plus time for SWAPping. Leaders will need to make the tags ahead of time.
