Responsibility
Make a name tag for your tote. This shoulder bag is the perfect size to carry the new Daisy Girls Guide to Girl Scouting book. 24" with handle x 13" wide and a 3" gusset. Made from non-woven fabric. Learn responsibility by bringing the bag to every meeting with your journey books, supplies and paperwork. Project will take about 10-15 minutes to complete. Girls earn their orange petal by remembering to bring their supplies to meetings.

Learning the Promise
Write your name on the pre-printed card to use as a name tag. Click here to see a close up of the front and back of the card. As you learn the Girl Scout promise, cover the circles with smile face stickers. When completed, turn the card over. Write your name on it, decorate with additional stickers and continue to use as a name tag. Beside this kit, You will need markers. Allow 10 minutes each meeting to practice reciting the promise until all your girls know it. Girls earn their blue middle by learning the Girl Scout Promise.

Honest and Fair
Girls can work in groups of 3 or 4. Collect all the beads from that group and place them in the middle of the table. Give each girl a plastic cup and pipe cleaner. Have each group divide the beads up fairly into their cups. Girls can then string the beads on to a pipe cleaner and make a bracelet. Project will take about 20 minutes to complete and you'll need scissors to trim the pipe cleaner when done. Girls earn their light blue petal for fairly sharing the beads.

Respect Authority
Make a firehouse scene using the stickers and printed background. There is also a printed Thank You card and envelope. Color in the words on the outside using your own markers. The inside is printed with lines spaced for beginning writers. Leaders can help their girls write to thank the firefighters for their hospitality (if you visited) or thank them for serving the community. Use additional stickers to decorate. Beside this kit, you will need your own markers. Project will take about 20 minutes to complete. Girls earn the magenta petal by learning to respect our community personnel.

Helpful and Kind
Each girl gets six printed cards and six foamie hands. Cards say "A Helping Hand Was Here." Glue a hand to each card. Instruct girls to help out or do chores and leave behind a card.  Beside this kit, You will need tacky glue and markers. Project will take about 10 minutes to complete plus time to talk to girls about helping at home. Girls earn the yellow petal by being helpful at home.

Caring
Girls peel and stick foamie glitter daisies to 4 preprinted card that say "A DAISY SMILE FOR YOU". Beside this kit. We also drew a smile face on the flowers with a marker. Project will take about 20 minutes to complete. Girls earn their spring green petal for making something that might help someone else feel a little better.

Self-Respect
Girls decorate a foam frame with the supplied peel and stick foamie glitter daisy as well as stickers: "I see combed hair." and "I see clean teeth". An unbreakable mirror is taped behind it. Peel & stick magnet is included. Beside this kit, you will need masking tape. Project will take about 20 minutes to complete. Girls earn their purple petal for by
practicing good hygiene habits and
learning self-respect

Courageous and Strong
Kit includes eight preprinted pieces. They have quotes such as "I'm brave at the doctor", "I can run fast", "I try new foods", etc. Girls choose four of the quotes and staple them together to make a crown. Place a sticker over each staple. Besides our kit, girls will need a stapler. Project will take about 15 minutes to complete. Girls earn the red petal for displaying their accomplishments and striving to achieve more.

Environmentalism
Kit includes bucket hat, pop-open button and four inserts:

or use the blank insert and write your own message. Place the cut out insert inside your button and pin it to your bucket hat. Peel and stick the supplied foamie glitter daisy to the front of the button. Girls can wear their hats as they practice environmentalism. Since all your girls will have the same color hats, it will help you keep track of them in a large group. Your hats can also be used to hold SWAP pins. Beside this kit, You will need scissors. Project will take about 15 minutes to complete. Girls earn their rose petal for learning to care about the environment which will make the world a better place.

Use Resources Wisely
Includes a 5 1/4" x 7" chalkboard, chalk and foam eraser. Use the chalkboard to save paper and help the environment. Decorate your chalkboard with the included recycled supplies. These supplies were purchased from a non-profit organization that collects and sells manufacturing waste. Your kit might include wallpaper, fabric, buttons, sequins or other recycled supplies. Project will take about 20 minutes to complete.Girls earn their green petal for by using
a chalkboard instead of paper and using
recycled supplies when crafting.

Be a Sister to Every Scout
Girls make 4 SWAPs each with the supplied peel and stick foamie glitter daisies. Kit also includes four safety pins and four jumbo swap tags.
