What's a First Year Six Pack
"Badge in a Bag?"
We know your first year as a new Brownie leader can be challenging. We've made it easier by pre-planning your try-its and bundling six "Badge in a Bags" to make it easier.

Each "Badge in Bag" kit contains four projects so your troop of 12 girls can earn their try-it. Kits contain all supplies and instructions. You just need basic materials like scissors, glue and crayons.

Got a bigger troop?
Not a problem. All our new "bags" have an option for a "Bag of Extras" to stretch your kit for up to four more girls. This is also a good option if you're the type of leader who likes to make samples and have extra supplies on hand.

Girl Scout Ways Try-It.
Learn the Girl Scout Law, make a sit-upon. Make a SWAP and learn to be prepared. It's the perfect introduction to becoming a Brownie Girl Scout. You'll want at least two meetings to work on this Badge in a Bag. details | purchase separately

Earn your 
Wave the Flag Try-It.
This Try-It was added after 911 and is not in your Try-It book. The requirements are on-line and Try-Its can be purchased from you Girl Scout store. You can make cards for Veteran's Day and have a patriotic party where you learn about the flag. This Badge in a Bag can be done in one meeting or you can spread it over two meetings.

This is probably your girl's first opportunity with selling Girl Scout cookies. Make it a fun and profitable experience when you use our Badge in a Bag kit. Having a booth sale? Your sales will increase when your girls wear their hats and pins and display the signs they have made. Asian Arts
Earn your Girl Scout Around the World Try-It.
Celebrate Chinese New Year and learn and throw a party or use this Badge in a Bag for Thinking Day. It's a great opportunity to learn about Girl Scouts from another country. Choose Taiwan as your country for Thinking Day and learn all about the Asian culture with this Badge in a Bag. (China is not a member of WAGGS so it is generally not chosen for Thinking Day.) You will probably need two meetings to complete this Badge in a Bag.
