This "Badge in a Bag" will provides hours and hours of quiet crafting time and six really great projects. 

If you are a Junior Girl Scout leader and would like to use this kit to complete your Yarn Arts Junior Badge here is our suggestion for fulfilling the requirements. Of course, it is not meant to infringe upon your own interpretation of the badge or the requirements printed in the badge book.

Requirement 2 - Weave On
Weave a drawstring coin purse on a cardboard loom. Kit includes instructions and supplies: Cardboard, Yarn, Plastic Needle, Beads. You'll also need a pencil, a ruler and scissors. Project will take about 120 minutes to complete.

Requirement 4 - Knots
Learn how to make knots and make a wall hanging. 
Kit includes instructions and supplies: Burlap, yarn, beads plastic needle, skewer. You'll also need scissors. Project will take about 40 minutes to complete.

Requirement 5 - Knot Project
Make a macramé key ring decoration. Kit includes instructions and supplies: hem, beads and lanyard hook. You'll also need scissors. Project will take about 35 minutes to complete.

Requirement 8 - A Stitch in Time
Make a needlepoint magnet with your initials. Kit includes instructions and supplies: Pattern, raffia, plastic needle, plastic canvas, and magnet. You'll also need scissors. Project will take about 40 minutes to complete.

Requirement 9 - Fabric Arts of the Past
Make a coiled basket just like early Native Americans. Kit includes instructions and supplies: Raffia, Plastic Needle, Cord, Beads. You'll also need scissors and glue. Project will take about 120 minutes to complete.

Requirement 10 - Fabric Arts Around the World
Make a traditional God's Eye. Kit includes instructions and supplies: Yarn and Craft Sticks. You'll also need scissors and glue. Project will take about 20 minutes to complete.
