Toy Designer Badge in a Bag®
Loaded with supplies so your girls can design their own projects.

Get it while you can! This "Bag" is being discontinued to make room for new "Badge in a Bags". The Junior Toymaker badge is being retired by GSUSA. Make sure to pick up your badges from the council store while they still have availablity.

LESS THAN 40ยข PER PROJECT
Kit contains supplies for a maximum of 12 scouts to do six activities. Order a "bag of extras" for troops up to 16. Order 2 full bags for troops of 17 or more.

This is by far our most creative, versatile "bag". We've supplied you with just the right mix of supplies for each girl to design her own projects. You'll also need scissors, glue and markers (or paint and brushes). The projects we show are just suggestions. Available with a "Bag of Extras" for leaders who like to make samples, have extra supplies on hand or to stretch your kit for up to four extra girls.

If you are a Junior Girl Scout leader and would like to use this kit to complete your Toy Maker Junior Badge here is one suggestion for fulfilling the requirements. There are plenty of other possibilities also and girls should be encouraged to "do their own thing". Of course, it is not meant to infringe upon your own interpretation of the badge or the requirements printed in the badge book.

Requirement 1 - It's Your Design
We used jingle bells, string and craft sticks to make a musical toy and decorated it with foamie flowers. Project will take up to 30 minutes to complete.

Requirement 2 - Toys Around the World
We used a jingle bell, string and favor cup to make a ball and cup toy and decorated it with foamie flowers.  Project will take up to 30 minutes to complete.

Requirement 3 - Toys Through History
We used the punch out puzzle top to fulfill this requirement. Project will take about 10 minutes to complete.

Requirement 5 - Make a Board Game
We taped together two pieces of card stock to make the game board and glued on foamie flowers as spaces. Both the dice and blank cards were used. Game piece were made by painting the inside of of the plastic favor cups and turning them upside down. Project will take at least 1 hour to complete.

Requirement 6 - Challenge the Imagination
We made a puzzle using craft sticks with a flowers painted on it. Project will take about 20 minutes to complete.

Requirement 7 - Design an Educational Game
We used the blank cards and straws to make a math game. Project will take about 20 minutes to complete.
