Great way to start out first year juniors or to brush up on scouting basics.

A lifesaver for new Junior Troops or troops looking for a refresher, your troop of 12 girls and earn the Girl Scouting in the USA Junior Badge in two easy meetings.

If you are a Junior leader and would like to use this kit to complete your Girl Scouting in the USA here is our suggestion for fulfilling the requirements. Of course, it is not meant to infringe upon your own interpretation of the badge or the requirements printed in the Junior Badge Book.

Requirement 1 - On My Honor
Make a door hanger to remind you to live by the promise and the law every day. Kit includes craft foam, plastic lace and foamie heart. You'll need your own marker, glue and scissors. Project will take about 10 minutes to complete plus the time it takes to learn the promise and the law.

Requirement 2 - Daisy's Life
Make a total of 36 swaps with your troop. Preprinted tags have facts about Juliette Low's life. Kit includes foamie daisies, tags and pins. Add your name and troop information to the tag before swapping. Set up your own swap or send the swaps to us and we'll send you some from another troop. Project will take about 15 minutes to complete.

Requirement 3 - Ceremonies and Traditions
Make a 6' troop banner to use in your ceremonies and parades. Kit includes felt banner, felt for lettering and hand prints, foamie sticker hearts and patterns. You'll need fabric glue (available at an additional cost), scissors, markers. You can also use your own dowel or string or choose to carry your banner without one. Project will take about 45 minutes to complete.

Requirement 4 - The Girl Scout Slogan
"Do a good turn daily" is the Girl Scout slogan. Your girls can add links to a paper chain with each good deed. Kit includes paper strips and stickers. You'll need your own markers. Project can be sent home with the girls to complete.

Requirement 5 - Earn Your Junior Aide Award
Kit includes foamie oval, foamie daisy and pin. Use these when you visit with a Daisy or Brownie troop. You can use them as name tags or make them into pins you can award the girls who learn the promise or earn a petal with your troop. Project will take about 10 minutes to complete and you'll need your own glue and markers. Note: Ovals come in different colors and yours may be a different color than shown.

Requirement 10 - Helping Others
"Be prepared" is the Girl Scout motto. When the girls come to their meeting prepared it helps their leader while they learn responsibility. Kit includes a large tote to carry their books and supplies back and forth the meetings. Decorate the totes with the included foaming hearts. Project will take about 10 minutes to complete and you'll need your own markers. Note: totes come in different colors and yours may be a different color than shown.
