Safety Bug Badge in a Bag!
Complete four requirements for your "Safety Sense" Brownie Try-It.

Teach your girls to be Safety Bugs so they can go home a make their homes a safer place for the whole family. 

If you are a Brownie leader and would like to use this kit to complete your Safety Sense Try-It here is our suggestion for fulfilling the requirements. Of course, it is not meant to infringe upon your own interpretation of the badge or the requirements printed in the Try-It book.

Requirement 1 - Safety Numbers
Make a magnet to keep on your refrigerator with all your important safety numbers. Kit includes 3" foamie magnet, foamie lady bug pieces and wiggle eyes. You'll need your own glue and permanent marker. Project will take about 15 minutes to complete.

Requirement 2 - Fire Safety Practice
Make a safety bug badge to wear while you make your safety plan and check your smoke alarms. Plastic badge hooks onto belt or neckline and you glue on foamie ladybug pieces and wiggle eyes. You'll need your own glue. Project will take about 10 minutes to complete plus the time to make a safety plan.

Requirement 5 - First Aid
Punch pre-printed cards to make a first aid booklet string on your first aid necklace. Carry your booklet with you in case of emergencies. Cards include information on what to do for a nose bleed, a bee sting and seven other minor first aid treatments. Project will take about 10 minutes to punch and string plus the time to learn about first aid.

Requirement 6 - Safety Center
Decorate the 6" plastic container with the included red tape and beads. Use the container to store your own supplies such as Band-Aids and change. Project will take about 15 minutes to complete and you'll need your own scissors and Band-Aids.
