LESS THAN 50¢ PER PROJECT!

Great for Thinking Day or any day your group, troop or class is learning about Ireland. Available with a "Bag of Extras" for leaders who like to make samples, have extra supplies on hand or to stretch your kit for four additional girls.

If you are a Brownie leader and would like to use this kit to complete your Brownie Girl Scouts People of the World Try-It here is our suggestion for fulfilling the requirements. Of course, it is not meant to infringe upon your own interpretation of the badge or the requirements printed in the Try-It book.

Requirement 3 - Irish Story
Step dancing is very popular with girls in Ireland. For many generations girls have dressed up in elaborate costumes, wigs and tiaras and danced for fun and competition. This kit includes a plastic tiara to wear while your girls dance to Irish music (CD is available for purchase separately.)

Requirement 3 - Irish Reporter
Learn about life in Ireland. How is St. Patrick's Day celebrated? Make beaded pin with Irish charms to SWAP or wear. Kit includes supplies to make a total of 36 pins for your girls to share. (Note: "Bag of Extras" does not include additional pin supplies). Project will take about 20 minutes to complete and you'll need your own SWAP tags.

Requirement 5 - Play a Game from Ireland
Use the included bouncing ball to play the game One-Two-Three O'Leary. Instructions included.

Requirement 6 - Make an Irish Flag 
Glue precut paper pieces on the supplied sticks to make a 4" x 5" flag from Ireland. Project will take about 10 minutes to complete and you'll need your own glue.
