This bag provides as excellent opportunity to help your girls become confident teens.

Our Self Esteem "Badge in a Bag" is a terrific character building tool for your junior troop. Available with a "Bag of Extras" for leaders who like to make samples, have extra supplies on hand or to stretch your kit for up to four extra girls.

If you are a Junior Girl Scout leader and would like to use this kit to complete your "Being Your Best" Junior Badge here is our suggestion for fulfilling the requirements. Of course, it is not meant to infringe upon your own interpretation of the badge or the requirements printed in the badge book.

Requirement 1 - Set a Goal -- and Reach It!
Kit includes a spiral star mobile. Decide on a long term goal and smaller steps. Write each step on star going up the spiral. Hang up the mobile in your room and date each star as you achieve that step. You'll also need gel pen. Project will take about 5 minutes to complete once you have your goal decided.

Requirement 2 - Name Your Talents
Fill in the worksheet daily with your talents. Project is a take home activity. Allow 10-15 minutes of discussion time during your meeting.

Requirement 3 - Keep a Journal
Write down thoughts and ideas in your journal. Kit includes sparkly memo pad and star stickers to decorate it. Project is a take home activity. Allow 10-15 minutes of discussion time during your meeting.

Requirement 6 - Create a "Brag Box"
Have your friends write positive comments about you on the included index cards. Keep them in the sparkly pillow box that you decorated with star stickers. You'll also need a paint pen if you want to write something on the box. Project will take about 25 minutes to complete.

Requirement 9 - Good Deed Star
Kit includes a 5" metallic star. Hang it in your room as a reminder to do good deeds. Add star stickers when you do something nice. Allow 10 minutes to talk about the project during your meeting.

Requirement 10 - Awards Trophy
Kit comes with a 4" plastic trophy for each girl. Troop leader labels them with the stickers provided such as "Most Helpful" "Most Courteous", etc. And awards them the girls in the troop.
