LESS THAN 40¢ PER PROJECT
Kit contains supplies for a maximum of 12 scouts to do six activities. Order a "bag of extras" for troops up to 16. Order 2 full bags for troops of 17 or more.

Just right for 9-11 year old crafters. Easy enough to be fun but challenging enough to be proud of the final projects. (Colors may vary from photo shown.)

If you are a Junior leader and would like to use this kit to complete your "Making" Hobbies Junior badge here is our suggestion for fulfilling the requirements. Of course, it is not meant to infringe upon your own interpretation of the badge or the requirements printed in the Junior Badge Book.

Requirement 1 - Choosing Decoupage
Decoupage is fun and economical. You can make many functional and decorative items to keep for yourself or give as gifts. It's a versatile craft and everyone will already have many items around the house to use when crafting. You can decoupage on almost any surface with a variety of printed material. Some suggestions for decopauging are old magazines and cards, gift wrap, old picture books, photographs and out-dated calendars. You'll need your own scissors and may want to paint some items before you decoupage.  Try your new craft by making a bookmark. Included in the kit is a bookmark blank, yarn, decoupage solution, and a brush. Allow about 20 minutes for this project.

Requirement 2 - Practice Your Craft
Kit includes a foam frame. Decoupage a design on the frame and add your own photo. You'll need scissors and may want to experiment with your own printed material to decoupage. Allow about 20 minutes for this project.

Requirement 3 - Re-Craft
Make a magnet using the foam oval, magnet and a napkin that are included in the kit. Napkins are a surprisingly good source for decoupage. You'll need your own scissors. Allow about 20 minutes for this project.

Requirement 5 - Make a Recycled Craft
Make an initial key chain using the wooden tag and chain included in kit. You might want to paint the wooden tag first. We recommend acrylic paint (not included). Find decorative lettering in a old magazine and choose a letter to decoupage on the wooden tag.  Allow about 20 minutes for this project.

Requirement 6 - Craft with a Nature Theme
Make an paper weight using a rock (not included). You might want to paint the rock first. We recommend acrylic paint (not included). Allow about 30 minutes for this project.

Requirement 8 - Make a Gift Box
Kit includes a gift box. Decoupage a design on the box. You'll need scissors and may want to experiment with your own printed material to decoupage or use the napkins included. Allow about 30 minutes for this project.
