What do they want to be when they grow up? This bag has enough supplies for 12 girls to complete the Brownie Careers Try-It. Available with a "Bag of Extras" for leaders who like to make samples, have extra supplies on hand or to stretch your kit for four additional girls. 

If you are a Brownie leader and would like to use this kit to complete your Brownie Careers Try-It here is our suggestion for fulfilling the requirements. Of course, it is not meant to infringe upon your own interpretation of the badge or the requirements printed in the Try-It book.

Requirement 1 - Autobiography
What do you like to do? Make things? Play with little children? Style hair? Think of how these things could become a job in your future and make pretend business cards for that job. Kit includes a total of 72 pre-printed business cards to share with your group. Project will take about 20 minutes to complete and you'll need your own pens or fine-point markers.

Requirement 4 - Career Charades
Kit includes 12 cardboard visors that represent different professions. Take turns trying on the visors and acting out the job. Allow at least 30 minutes or more for this activity.

Requirement 5 - Learn to Earn
Make bookmarks to sell as a money earning project. Kit includes 36 cardstock bookmark blanks, cord and beads to share with your troop. You'll need your own markers or crayons, and scissors. Project will take about 30 minutes to complete plus the time to sell them.

Requirement 6 - It's Your Business 
We've included 12 sign blanks to help set up a pretend store or you can use them when selling your bookmarks. You can even use some of your business cards with this activity. Allow 1 hour for this activity.
